Loving God and loving others. It’s as simple as that. We seek to serve our community and share the love of Christ with Duncannon and Perry County.
Upcoming Projects
Throughout the year we have a variety of activities and events to love our neighbors.
Benevolence Fund
Our benevolence fund exists to help our neighbors right here in Perry County when financial difficulties arise. We have a dedicated team of six volunteer and work with other county organizations to find the best solution to these set backs and help our neighbors get back on their feet.
Food Bank Sunday
On the last Sunday of each month, we collect non-perishable food items for the Neighbor Helping Neighbor food bank. All donations stay in Perry County to help our direct community. In October, we hold a month-long food drive to benefit the food bank and help them prepare for the holiday season.
Food Bank Sunday
We provide a "party in a box" for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Bank to hand out to all families with children during their birth month.
Each box contains:
- Box of cake mix
- Can of icing
- Birthday Candles
- Balloons
- Party plates
- ...and more!
Boxes will be available beginning January 12, 2025.
Thanksgiving Dinner on Us
We offer a free Thanksgiving meal to our neighbors in Perry County, delivered right to your door.
On Thanksgiving 2024, we delivered 512 meals throughout Perry County. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped us love our neighbors.
Planning for next Thanksgiving will begin in 2025.

We offer a free meal on Thanksgiving Day to anyone in our community, available by delivery or take out.
Adopt-A-Family
We give hope to our neighbors by providing Christmas gifts for children in Perry County in partnership with Join Hands Ministries.
Santa’s Workshop
A Christmas shopping experience for kids!
Saturday, December 7 | 9:00 - 11:00 am
Children can shop, with the help of our “elves,” for everyone on their list with all items costing $5 or less. Plus, our elves are happy to wrap the gifts too.
