Reaching our neighbors

Loving God and Loving Others - it's as simple as that.  We seek to serve our community and beyond and share the love of Christ with our neighbors.

Ongoing Opportunities

Food Bank Sundays - On the last Sunday each month, we'll collect non-perishable items for theNeighbors Helping Neighbors Food Bank.  Items can be dropped off during our in-person service on the last Sunday of each month. A list of needed items can be found at

Foster Care Supply Closet - We are excited begin  collecting items for our Foster Care Supply Closet. Once we build up our inventory, we will be offering these items to Foster Families in Perry County.  Stay tuned for more information and click here for the donation list.

October food drive

Throughout the year, we host Food Bank Sundays on the last Sunday of each month, collecting donations for the Neighbor Helping Neighbor Food Bank.  But in October, we pull out all the stops.

In 2022, there are FIVE Sundays we will be collecting.  This will be our final collection of the year.

Here's how it works:

  • Grab a paper grocery bag from the church lobby (or use one of your own)
  • Fill the bag with nonperishable food items
  • Return to the church on any Sunday in October

Our goal is to collect 100 bags filled with groceries!

Thanksgiving Dinner

You're invited to join the Cornerstone family for a FREE Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day at noon.

The menu includes turkey, stuffing and all the fixins.

We ask that you RSVP to the meal so we can save you a seat at the table.  Take out is also available.

Click here to RSVP or reserve your take out meal(s).

foster family support

You’ve heard the saying, “it takes a village to raise a child.” This is not more true than foster care. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding a child entering care, foster families open their homes and their hearts in a time of crisis. What better way to love our neighbors than to love those that are already loving others in this big way!?

We are so excited to kick off a Foster Care Support ministry. While the vision for this ministry is HUGE, we’re ready to launch Phase 1 and begin collecting items for a supply closet that will be available to families in our county. (We hope to have enough items to offer the supplies beginning this fall).

Learn more about the vision behind this ministry from Hope Coombs (Kids Ministry Director) and Megan Safko (Reach Director).
