  • Volunteer as a crew leader, donate supplies, help with decorations and more! We reach over 200 children in our community with our VBS (Vacation Bible School) program and teach them all about the love of Jesus! Visit the Kids page (click here) or check out the lobby display to get involved.

  • Clean out your pantry or grab a few at the store for the Neighbor Helping Neighbor food bank.  We collect items in the church lobby on the last Sunday of Each month.  Visit the Food Bank's website (click here) for a list of needed items.

    DO  MORE:

Become a food bank volunteer on a regular basis! Visit the Food Bank's website (nhnfoodbank.com) to learn more and volunteer!

  • Summer is here and so is summer weather! On hot days, love your neighbor by helping them stay hydrated.  Put out a cooler of water with a thank you note for your mail carrier and delivery person.  Take a cooler of bottled water (sealed) to the park and give it away for free.  Drop some off to those that work outside.  Take some to your neighbor who is weeding her flower bed.  The opportunities are endless!

  • Donate school supplies to children right here in Perry County through Join Hands' Back 2 School Program.  We will be collecting in the lobby June 26-July 10.  A list of items is available here.

    DO MORE:

We partner with Join Hands with their Back 2 School program and Adopt a Family program (Christmas), plus work hand in hand with our benevolence help.  You can help Join Hands further reach our community by being a volunteer.  Visit joinhands.help to learn more.

  • Love our community by supporting area small businesses.  Visit the establishment, leave a positive review on social media and share the information with your family and friends!

  • Mow the grass, weed the garden, deliver flowers.... help show love to your neighbors by serving them and helping with their outdoor care.  No lawn?  Drop off some potted plants to door steps.

  • Love Foster Children and Families in our community by donating Gift Cards.  These cards will help foster families in our community with necessary items for the children in their care. We are collecting cards from Giant, Karns, Weis, Target, Walmart and Kohls in any denomination.  Cards can be dropped in the box at Guest Services in the church lobby.

  • Know a family that's always running out the door?  Arrange to drop of dinner, snacks or even a treat to allow them to enjoy a few moments as a family.  Not a chef?  Pick up some take out or contact the church office and pick up a freezer meal from the Meal Team.

foster family support

You’ve heard the saying, “it takes a village to raise a child.” This is not more true than foster care. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding a child entering care, foster families open their homes and their hearts in a time of crisis. What better way to love our neighbors than to love those that are already loving others in this big way!?

We are so excited to kick off a Foster Care Support ministry. While the vision for this ministry is HUGE, we’re ready to launch Phase 1 and begin collecting items for a supply closet that will be available to families in our county. (We hope to have enough items to offer the supplies beginning this fall).

Learn more about the vision behind this ministry from Hope Coombs (Kids Ministry Director) and Megan Safko (Reach Director).
