Reach out

At Cornerstone, family doesn’t stop at the church doors. We believe God calls us to reach out to the missing and the hurting in our community, our country and our world. We want to follow the teachings of Jesus, and the life he lived, and to rescue the missing and impact the community with God’s love. By Reaching, we are living out Jesus' teaching:

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" Matthew 25:35-40

Extending our reach

We believe that God has called us as a church to focus first on our community but we acknowledge that the needs around the globe are great.  We partner with Samaritan's Purse in their efforts to reach those at home and abroad in Jesus' name.

Our Kids Ministry supports Samaritan's Purse through Operation Christmas Child each winter.  Beginning in 2017, we will become an official drop off location for items collected.

We also partner with Juniper Community Mission and their efforts in ministering to the people in Haiti.
