The Benevolence Team at Cornerstone exists to bring light and love to our neighbors by providing financial assistance to our community. Using dedicated funds from Cornerstone Church, we can help our neighbors in need with assistance including bill paying (electric, rent, etc), household items, clothing, school supplies, food, gas and other essential items. We also partner with other community organizations to best support and love our neighbors.
In order to apply for assistance, please follow the instructions below:
1. Fill out the entire Application for Assistance to the best of your ability. CLICK HERE
2. One of our team members will be in touch with you to schedule a meeting to review your form and your needs so we can assess how we can best help you. Sometimes we can directly help with a need and other times there are other organizations better suited to set you on a path to success.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19, in order to maintain social distancing, we are currently utilizing phone meetings in lieu of in person meetings.
3. Our team will assess how we can best help you based on the resources we have.
4. One of our team members will contact you with any decisions made.
Any assistance will be paid directly to the individual/organization/company where money is due or a gift card will be given. We do not give out cash nor do we keep cash or give cards on hand at the church.
Our team is made of volunteers who desire to love their neighbors. This process can take up to 2 weeks. We typically cannot help with emergency requests.
Christmas Is Coming
We partner with Susquenita School District and Join Hands Ministries to provide Christmas Gifts to area families. If your family is in need of help with Christmas gifts, we are unable to help directly. Please contact Join Hands Ministries (before 10/31) or if you live in the Susquenita School District, you can contact the school for information.
